Go, Go, Greta™ The World's Busiest Girl Does It All™

Go, Go, Greta™ is a self-published children's book series created by author Dana Satterwhite and illustrator Joseph Watson. Thanks for taking time to visit our site. Our books are currently available through online publisher Lulu.com. Below are several illustrations from our first two books and projects currently in-progress. Below that is a little bit about each of us and how the character and series initially came about. Hope you like what you see.

How did it happen? Pretty much like this.

Visited Hickey Elementary School in northeast Las Vegas. Got inspired. Went home. Wrote a story. Tried the traditional publishing route. Looked promising for a bit but ultimately didn't turn out. Wouldn't take "no" for an answer. Met Joseph Watson. Loved his work. Have been partnered ever since. The last five years have been spent creating and developing a local following. Now it's time to turn the corner.

Author Dana Satterwhite is an award-winning advertising creative, born in Manhattan and raised just outside of the city. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from SUNY Binghamton. He pursued graphic design for two years in a small studio and studied at the School of Visual Arts, where he discovered a love and affinity for advertising. He did graduate study at Emerson College in Boston, which led him to a career as art director, copywriter, and creative director. As a diversion, he founded art gallery TastySpace in downtown Las Vegas in early 2012 and currently serves as Partner and Creative Director for creative collective Quiver. In 2012, he and children's book illustrator partner Joseph Watson created Love for Literacy initially as a way to showcase local Las Vegas writer and illustrator talent, celebrate the efforts of minorities committed to excellence during Black History Month, and as a bridge to Nevada Reading Week.

Illustrator Joseph Watson is an award-winning painter, illustrator, and conceptual artist whose urban fine art style is unmistakable. A native of Gardena, CA, just south of Los Angeles and found himself surrounded by many non-traditional forms of art at an early age. Watson was in the middle of a commercial art program at the Los Angeles Trade Technical College when he was accepted into the prestigious Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. He went on to freelance as a concept designer for Mattel and then spent five years in the video game industry, ultimately ending up in Las Vegas, where he splits his time between designing video games, running his own gallery, painting, and illustrating anything you can imagine. His paintings are collected locally and internationally, residing permanently in collections as esteemed as Cirque du Soleil headquarters in Montreal, Canada, and beyond. His work may be seen at the Joseph Watson Collection online and within Las Vegas' one and only Arts Factory.
